Menurut saya lagu ini bercerita tentang sepasang kekasih yang telah putus namun susah untuk melupakan kenangan ketika sedang bersama. Namun terdapat penyesalan yang sangat dalam, mungkin menyesal telah menjalin hubungan dengan mantan pasangannya. Hal ini terbukti di dalam lirik lagu yang akan saya garis bawahi di bawah ini

Hal ini mungkin terlihat wajar, namun bagi seseorang yang sudah jatuh hati dan susah sekali untuk melupakan, akan sangat pedih sekali menerima kenyataan bahwa seseorang yang diidamkan dari mantan nya itu bukan dirinya sendiri
